but thank God for the people who were with me all the way.
they taught me to calm down and helped me with my luggages.
i managed to get onto the next flight, paying an extra $35 to confirm my seat
and not have to deal with the Standby List Procedures.
the four of us had a last great dinner at Macs
and i cannot describe in words how thankful i felt
to have their company.
when i was finally on the plane,
i felt at peace and it was so nice to look out and see the moon and the stars.
soaking in all that on my own was quite beautiful in a way.
i remember feeling so angry and asking God why
he allowed me to miss my flight a second time at Chicago!
but it dawned on me that even though i always think of myself as someone who has grown up,
this experience has taught me something more.
there's still so much more i need to learn,
there's so much more to be aware of and not be such a scatter-brain.
so rather than feeling all grumpy and frustrated at my "unlucky event"
i think maybe its better that i look on the positive side. :)
any how,
i survived the four hour flight on my own!
and i've become just a little bit braver once again.
good job char!
