for the last long weekend of the semester, we decided to drive up to vermont. ben and jerry's was supposed to be our very first stop.i almost got a heart attack when the doors to the building were locked and the whole place seemed so deserted. my heart really sank when i thought the photograph we took with the b&j's bus was the only memory we were going to bring home. but due to my "blurness", i gave ryan the wrong address and the GPS led us to the office building instead. HAHAHAHA!so we decided that we would go check out the Vermont Teddy Bear Company first.
check out the OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT bear! so cute!we joined the factory tour and it was pretty funny seeing how enthusiastic the kids were. 
Shelburne Farms was our next stop.oh man. it was such a beautiful place. 
took some photographs with the donkeys and horses.

the guys even decided to try climbing some trees. but the farm was so huge and pretty,all i really wanted to do was sit down and have a nice little picnic!
then we stopped by this Vermont river where you could fish. 
you can tell from the photographs that it was a really peaceful place. 
and this place was not on our agenda at all. we drove past and found that it was so gorgeous we had to make a stop. :)wheeeeeeeeeeeee. 
then we headed back to our hotel.$62 for the night. comfy. clean. cosy. 
finally!
what we all have been waiting for. 
managed to find the correct address this time.joined the factory tours again and ta-dah, we got some FREE ice-cream. 
bought b&j shirts for myself and christine. =P sam says when the weather gets hot, she's gonna wear it with shorts and slippers and walk to school! UP lah! THAT'S the NUS lok-kok style. 
then PLAN S.HO came into action.i had to try my very very best to distract sam...brought her to the toilet, brought her to check out the ice-cream flavours etcjust so the guys could buy the b&j's ice cream cake. :)
then the FUN began. check out sam pulling my hair.check out US pinning her to the ground to smear cake on her face.happy be-earlied birthday sam! =p
drove down to new hampshire after this.the drive was very scenic and beautiful. wanted to check out some gorges and caves but they were closed.so we decided to head home early.
charthestar took over the driving cause the poor guys had been driving so much. and i gave them 10000000 heart attacks. gave myself 10000 heart attacks whenever i saw the police cars cause i was driving at 85 miles an hour. *speeding ah!*HAHA. but nonetheless, WE all got home SAFELY. and i'm so proud of myself for driving for 2 hours straight.

it was a weekend of fun, laughter, peace and joy.
and i truly thank God for it. :)
