woke up at 5.30am in the morning. had to get ready to leave our inn by 6.15am. (zzzzzzZzzzz) Ryan had to go collect the ZIPCAR (rented), so that we could drive up to Loon Mountain.
the adventure begins!
look at Ryan a.k.a Ahmad the Chauffeur acting cool. look at Tom a.k.a Salimah the Maid checking out the maps.
Salimah had to wipe the windows every 10s because they kept fogging up. then Ahmad would scold him because he couldn't see where he was going.
*we literally couldn't see anything outside the car. ADVENTURE huh?
being girls, our job was to spread jam and cheese on slices of bread for the guys to eat. and for the rest of the journey- sit back and relax. hahaha. =)
taking photographs with our dear Nissan at our first stopover.
when we first got onto the car, ryan found a CD that someone else left behind. so we decided to try out this CD.
it turned out to be a CD full of cheena pok songs.
and ryan-with a Eusoff Hall background- is obviously very cheena pok. so we listened to cheena pok music alllllllll the way during our 2 1/2 hours drive up.
as you look at the next few photographs, you must try to capture the cheena pok "Feeling". hahahahha.
i liked track 7 of the CD. which is Love's Beautiful. it didn't sound too bad. quite nice. =) i think i vaguely remember someone singing this at kbox before.
chauffeur ahmad's favourite was track 16. he says its titled Love Story and sung by 2 guys whose names i can't remember.
oh man ahmad kept singing this song.
both sam and i felt our ears going deaf.....
JUST KIDDING. =p
but the best part was when we started teasing ahmad about this song.... him singing the song to ________ and walking down __________ hahahahahahahaha. i built abs laughing so much during the drive up.
had to pump petrol along the way. and petrol was DIY style.
see ahmad had to get down and pump the petrol into the car himself.
wooohoooooo. time to start skiing!
sam and i decided to stay on the bunny slopes. this ski mountain was for the pro-skiers so we didn't want to embarrass ourselves.
i fell down twice. SUPER embarrassing.
the kind of fall where u just SPRAWL on the snow.
the guys went up the green slopes. ryan tried snowboarding too. bunny slope was tiring enough for me.
i saw many small little kids at the ski mountain. check out boy in red- so cute! check out boy in blue- so tiny!
don't look down on them. they were better at skiing than me. =(
the ski mountain closed at 4pm.
took some final photos with the scary slopes as the background. imagine coming down that!
*pssst pastor khong would have no problem coming down i bet. =p

apparently its equivalent to 120km/h. goodness me. hahaha. but ahmad wanted to make sure we reached Boston before night fell. smart.
it was a great adventure. i love the cosy little nissan.
