i woke up this morning to light snow falling from the sky again.
snow makes it feel like christmas again. Geri was mentioning that she has never experienced a White Christmas before, neither have i.
this was the church i visited today. it was predominantly made up of African Americans. the worship was good. it was black mama style man! we sang one of israel houghton's songs too! and the best part was i saw the drummer flip the drum stick and continue playing again during the song. very very cool.
but the sermon was even more stunning. i felt like he listened to pastor melvyn's sermon then reproduced his own- so divine. he talked about oaths and vows, and that is what God has been speaking to me about. then he talked about walking in intimacy and drawing near to God. i remember he said something like "you can't shout to God from afar and talk to him like he is your bellboy, you need to go near."
i felt blessed during the service. everyone was very friendly. thank you Lord. :)
i thank God for kristin too. without her, i wouldn't be able to find my directions around Boston and get to the church.

we ate AUTHENTIC korean food for lunch. it was superb. yummy. but very expensive. my MOST expensive meal since i came to Boston. US$20!!!!!!!!
thats why you see i literally licked the bowls clean to make my money's worth. :P
so i woke up this morning to read my Psalm. and yayy, it's Psalm 27 today.
and yes, my anchoring verse for the year is from Psalm 27.
One thing I ask of the Lord,,
this is what i seek;
that i may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.
Psalm 27:4-5
i am going to wake up to a brand new week tomorrow.
it's not going to be easy. :(
but dear Lord, i trust that you are in control.
TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS
