so this is how my bed looks like now. and i am going to try to sleep alone tonight.
AHHHH.
so scary. my roommates are still not here. so i'm still praying that my roommates are nice and God will send me christian roomates.
in the meantime: funny pictures that make me laugh HAHAHAHA.
this is friday 11th Jan 2008- 11pm onwards at my house. playing boardgames and goofing around. my last moments in SPORE.

aiyoh. so AUNTY.
we played MONOPOLY our own way. different rules. hilarious!!
time to stone!

oh myyyyyyyy DANIEL. hahahaha. what a big nose you have. :)
the real stuff

today was the first day of orientation.
and this is how it looks like outside my hostel. quite pretty right?
but when you look inside my hostel it'll be a different story. haha. scary movie 5 okay!
so anyway, we wanted to skip this portion of orientation to go buy our pillows and comforters.
but they said it was an important programme so we stayed behind.
AMOS.NG.JIN.TONG if you are reading this- GUESS WHAT WE DID?!
we did this activity called COMMUNITY BUILD aka EXPERENTIAL LEARNING.
we even had two rounds of facilitation, one in a big group and the other in the small group.
ohhhhmyyyygoosshh.
i thought orientation was going to be mud+ketchup like the famous NUS dirty games.
so the activity was to build our ideal community with facilities like schools and hospitals. in the process of building you would have to go through the housing board and you had to have police security everywhere.
it's quite a complex game but the facilitation was rather deep and thoughtful. The main takeaway was that sometimes people pre-judge, misjudge without knowing the real consequences behind every situation. WHAO.
they say it might snow tomorrow. 13 inches of snow!
hmmm... i want to see snow falling down my window, maybe that will make me happier too :)
