Presenting: TOM KOPE-STER
hahaha. we went to visit tom, ryan and li lei's dorm today. and i laughed like mad, and i mean MAD, when i saw his pillow. he KOPED it from the airplane!!!!!!!!!! since the first day of orientation, tom has been KOPING all the leftover food, the muffins, the plastic cups etc etc. heehee.
So, today was the First Day of school. i walked to school in hopes that the professors would take me in to the soviet union and crusades history classes. but sadly, both classes were full and they couldn't take me in.
big sigh! i feel very unsettled without getting my modules and everything. i still have to do the module mapping form for NUS.
talking about that, i miss Egg Tart and Joseph and Ivan, my buddies for history classes in NUS. :( boo hoo. i miss you guys!! you all NEVER FAIL to disturb me during lessons, so i have no idea why i'm missing you all too. i guess having people around you beats having no one around you right?
and i've come to realise that the NUS IVLE and WEB EMAIL system is so much better. everything is so clearly written out in front of you. I thought that the american system would be better here, but horror of horrors, its really messy!
anyway, today is the 16th of January. and Psalm 16:8 says
I Have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
yayy :P these are pictures from the Music Room in my hall. we went around to explore the hall today.
and then we sat around the old creaky piano which is super out of tuned and sang some songs.
**** if i play SECRET, i think i can travel to the future. :P
but the most AMAZING thing that happened today was my roomie Kristin!
thank God for her!
she's Korean American and she's a believer too.
We actually did Quiet Time together this morning.
She shared with me something she read and i shared about Psalm 16.
then we prayed for each other in the room.
she's planning to bring us to her church this Sunday and i'm looking forward to it! very very happy that God has blessed me with a guardian angel in ROOM 821 of MYLES STANDISH HALL.
