caterpillars and chinese new year
this year, mummy bought twigs (yes, they're called twigs) to decorate the house. it's different from previous years, not the one which has buds, and which my itchy fingers would like to pull off the brown part. haha. She claimed that it was pretty artistic. but guess what. we found caterpillars on the twiggy tree!! it was horrifying. the maid saw it first and told us, then we went to look at the tree and observed that actually the caterpillars were everywhere. My dear brother actually wanted to keep some of the caterpillars for fun, but thank goodness daddy said "no way". if the caterpillars ever escaped to my room, i would scream. haha.
therefore, moral of the story is: don't ever buy the twiggy tree for chinese new year!
but then again, have a great chinese new year. it's term break for all the nus students, and so, i am going to treasure every minute of it. wheeeee!
