started the year with the BREAKOUT Countdown Party at Expo. the rehearsals didn't go to waste even though there were a few tiny hitches. I really liked the flashcard testimonies because some of them were really powerful, especially those from the deaf ministry. During one of the rehearsals, i remember pastor ro telling us that we can enter this year with hope even though there are so many horrid things happening around the world. take the bombings in bangkok for example. but we had so much fun that night. a truly memorable countdown party!
after attending pastor khong's 1728 meeting that night, i am even more affirmed that this year will be a Year Of Victory. more so because we are going to see the fruits of service-learning and project smile through the QianQianShou projects to Shenyang and Shanghai. Though i need a refresher course to re-learn my magic tricks, but i am really happy that i've been through so many service-learning projects that i can see its usefulness in our society today. wheee. looking forward to the service learning course that we will be conducting for VJC next week. my beloved JC! :P I believe that i will still be able to see more extraordinary possibilities this year and that I will be a warrior of light. (even though it's so hard at times because not everyone understands what you are doing)
