exams are here!
just came back to my hall tonight.
my uncle gave me a lift and it was a great time catching up with him.
and then the miracle happened.
He gave me $800 for my missions trip to vietnam.
and my aunty gave me $400.
I feel so blessed because it's more than the total cost of the trip. He knew that it was more than what i was supposed to raise, and told me to save the rest of the money. (maybe its a sign i can go for another missions trip next yr! :P)
But, i know deep in my heart that this is truly God's blessing.
knowing what little time i had to raise funds during this exam period- God is understanding and his compassions are abounding. More than that, i know its God's sign for me that he really wants me to go for this trip. Previously, i was rather unsure because the dance rehearsals and IHG trainings all seemed to clash with the trip. But now, i know.
Looking forward to the end of exams.
In the mean time, here's a reminder of God's provision and how he will give us more than what we ask for.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, the comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You annoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and i will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
